1 John 2:2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.
It amazes me that anyone can still call himself a sinner when Jesus paid such a horrendous price to get everybody in the whole world saved. He paid for every single sin. It’s not just the little sins because even a mass murderer is forgiven. People who are torturing others so viciously in this day and age that we can scarcely breathe when we read the reports, Jesus already paid the price for their sins. That’s mind-blowing. Maybe He sees what that person could be. Maybe He sees the little boy or girl that was so savagely treated that they must treat other people savagely. Still, it doesn’t seem fair. And yet, everyone is forgiven.
Of course there is one condition to that forgiveness and that is each person must accept the work Jesus did through His death, burial and resurrection in order to receive the benefits of forgiveness. Most people don’t know they are forgiven. It’s our job to go tell them. If we don’t, they won’t know and then they will spend eternity paying for their sins, even the little ones, in hell.
Writing has been in my blood, so to speak, but when I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ and He told me to write, all my trepidations rolled away and I began in earnest! After all, if God Almighty says it was His idea that I be a writer, who am I to stand in His way? My hope is that you not only like what I write, but that your life is moved by it, and that your party to Jesus and with Jesus turns your life into days of Heaven on Earth.
