When I first came to France I went out on the streets and asked people if they knew who Jesus was.  It shocked me to hear their answers.  “He’s Mary’s baby,” was the most common answer I received.  No one seemed to know who Jesus was, is or is to come.  They did not comprehend what He did that made Him so significant for the world.  The spiritual realm that surrounds this natural realm, and in fact affects physical lives, seemed to be totally unknown.  The book of John, in the Bible, the fourth Gospel in the New Testament, clearly presents Jesus in His Deity, in His humanity, in His sacrificial love for His fellow human beings, and in His purpose for Creation.  This little book will introduce Him to you and it will give you the opportunity to embrace Him for who He is.
