And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account (Hebrews 4:13). There really are no secrets in the universe! You think you’re hiding? Or hiding something? Something God doesn’t know? Forget it! Our Divine Dad is so huge that if all seven billion of us were to speak to Him at the same time, in all our different languages, He would hear every word and would answer all of us at the same time, using our different languages! He is a God of the NOW. At this precise moment He knows everything. He doesn’t get old-fashioned, the world gets that way. He doesn’t get anxious about earth’s activity, the world gets that way. He sits on His throne and laughs. Why do the nations rage . . . ? He who sits in the heavens shall laugh . . . (Psalm 2:1–3).
You think you have made some plans that are so far out, so genius that you’ll straighten out the world? Can you hear Him laughing even harder? Jesus already did that! You have to be “In Him” to receive it, but that’s a piece of cake! He knows you. He wrote a book about you. All His hopes and dreams for His very special creation, are written in that book. He thinks about you all the time and His thoughts are good, no matter what bad behavior you’re up to. He knows who you are underneath that undisciplined, rebellious, and maybe even trashy life you lead. There isn’t one who is good, not even one. Yet you He loves, and He sent His Son to die in your place to pay for your sins. He set up a highway to heaven for you to travel that goes right through Jesus Christ, because He is the way, the truth, the life. God is at the other end of that highway with His hands stretched out to you. Consider your ways. Stretch out your hands to Him and COME HOME! Father, receive me back into Your loving arms. Give me Jesus. Thank You that He paid for my sins, that His blood washes me clean, that His truth sets me free. Thank You for such love as I have never known! I never imagined a God who would do everything for me and require nothing of me but to come home. Here I am.
