There is nothing that can be hidden from God; everything in all creation is exposed and lies open before His eyes. And it is to Him that we must all give an account of ourselves (Hebrews 4:13; Good News Bible). I’ve created some things in my time; I’ve made articles of clothing on my excellent Elna machine. I’ve prepared superb soups using my Kitchen Aid appliance. I’ve written twenty-four books at this point in my life, using various laptops and now a Notebook, and I’ve put together countless sermons by researching the Bible. But I could have done nothing without God creating creation. And His building blocks were words! To define His labor, it seemed His creation came out of thin air. He said “Light be,” and Light was. I don’t know of another being who says “House be,” and house materializes. My creations all depended on devices that helped me. Without them it would have been impossible, but God made His creation to undergird our creation. Could I sew a dress without needle and thread, or even without the material for that matter? But the thing of it is, I know where every difficult stitch lies. I know where I substituted another ingredient in a soup, and I can taste it. I know every word I have written, and why I wrote it. I know every biblical principle I have expounded.
God knows His creation. He knows every lie that has bungled your life force. He knows every ingredient that makes your life run the way it does. He knows every word that has been said to formulate your future. He knows how much understanding you have of truth. What can you possibly hide from Him? Get honest. Get transparent. Get God the way He wants you to Get Him. Through Jesus. No one comes to the Father except through Jesus.
