And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account (Hebrews 4:13). There is an absolutely fraudulent thing that all human beings do to themselves that makes no sense at all. I first discovered it in myself and then, as I observed, I discovered it in everybody else. We believe lies. Oh, we don’t know we believe lies; we consider everything we think is the truth; otherwise, we wouldn’t believe it. In myself I realized that I could read something resolutely powerful in the Bible, and it would be evident that God wanted all of us to have this gift, but a voice inside of me would invariably say, “Yes, but it’s not for you.” Now God, who sees right through us and knows, for instance, what the voice kept saying to me, practically shouts at us (through His Word of course), “Why not believe the Word?” Well, just what does the Word say?
“If you ask anything in My name, I will do it,” (John 14:14) You have an anointing from the Holy One and you know all things (1 John 2:20). God never thinks ill of us. We do that for ourselves. He never mocks us or insults us; in fact, He spends His time thinking good thoughts about us. Why on earth do we think poorly of ourselves? Remember, we will have to account for all those negative thoughts we had about His precious creation, which He loves completely and unconditionally. That’s you and me!
