Bible Snack #15

​But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him (1 John 2:5).
 
I don’t know about you, but my Bible has 1095 pages and the print is really small. That’s a lot of Word to keep.  If I just look at the New Testament, which after all is our New Covenant with God obtained by the Blood of Jesus, I still have 248 pages with commandments on just about every page. Fortunately, I know a little secret about the Bible. Although it had many different scribes to write the words over a period of 1,500 years, the Bible had only one author, Jesus Christ. He is the Word of God, the Son of God, equal with God, and I know that God is made of Love. His Word is all about Love. That’s why He formed us out of the dust of the earth so that He could love us, and we could love Him. Yes, I’m going to keep His Word! I’m going to love Him with all my spirit, soul, and body, and I’m going to love His Body (my fellow believers) as if they were me, and together we are in Him!
